Zero-twist yarn construction leaves the cotton fibers open rather than tightly spun. That open structure is what creates the softness and absorbency from the first use, and what makes the Ribbed feel noticeably more substantial than its weight suggests.

Aegean Turkish Cotton

Aegean Turkish Cotton

The Aegean coast of Turkey has been growing cotton for centuries. Long hot summers, mineral-rich soil, and the low humidity of the Mediterranean climate produce an extra-long staple fiber that is finer, longer, and more uniform than cotton grown almost anywhere else in the world.

Not all Turkish cotton is the same. "Turkish cotton" on a label means cotton grown anywhere in Turkey. Aegean cotton specifically refers to the extra-long staple variety grown in this coastal basin. The longer fiber length is what produces the softer, more lustrous, more durable yarn. It's the difference between a region and a standard.

Our towels are grown and woven here, by mills with generational knowledge of the fiber. Built to last and hold its feel.
