Our Story

Verlee means "truthful."

And we take that seriously.

We built the brand we couldn't find.

There's a moment when you hold the right fabric and you just know. We've chased that feeling for years — through mills, across sample tables, running our hands over more swatches than we could count. It's the reason Verlee exists.

We built this company the way we wished more companies were built. Starting with what we actually believe in — that the materials touching your skin and your family's skin should be safe, natural, and made without cutting corners. That the people who make them deserve fair conditions and wages. That a product worth buying is one that earns its place in your home over years, not seasons. These weren't positions we landed on for the brand. They were already true before we started.

We're third-generation textile people. We know how this industry works — what things actually cost to make, where the markup lives, which certifications are meaningful and which aren't. That knowledge is the whole point of Verlee. Not to talk about it, but to do something with it.

The Try at Home sampler is our way of sharing something we've always had access to and most people haven't — the chance to hold the fabrics side by side, feel the difference, and decide for themselves. Just the fabric in your hands and the time to know.

The mills we work with aren't vendors.

They're partners, chosen through relationships built over time in an industry we know well. Every product reflects decisions made at every step of that process, by people we know and trust.

We publish a full cost breakdown on every product page — materials, duties, freight, fulfillment, all of it. The same GOTS certification found on bedding sold at two to three times our price. The difference isn't the material. It's the model.
