Zero-twist yarn construction is what makes this possible. Standard towel construction twists the cotton fibers tightly together before weaving. Zero-twist skips that step entirely, leaving the fibers open and bloomed. The result is a mat that absorbs immediately, dries quickly, and feels genuinely plush underfoot without the bulk or weight of a comparable standard mat.

Gentle machine wash lukewarm with like colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low and remove promptly. Low iron setting only.

Our mats are colored with dyes free of harmful synthetic chemicals, which makes them safer for your skin and better for the environment. That same quality makes them more susceptible to discoloration from certain skincare ingredients. If your routine includes benzoyl peroxide or similar active ingredients, we recommend choosing white.

Not all Turkish cotton is the same. "Turkish cotton" on a label means cotton grown anywhere in Turkey. Aegean cotton specifically refers to the extra-long staple variety grown in this coastal basin. The longer fiber length is what produces the softer, more lustrous, more durable yarn. It's the difference between a region and a standard.
